Craig Knapp is a trial lawyer and founding partner of Knapp & Roberts in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he serves as the firm’s lead counsel. Many of his cases include representing victims of abuse and neglect that has occurred while staying in a long-term care facility such as a nursing home, assisted living home, or group home. Craig Knapp is a graduate of Arizona State University (B.S. 1986), Saint Louis University (J.D. 1990) and the University of Arizona, (M.B.A. 1992). He has been a guest lecturer at Arizona State University College of Law and has taught continuing legal education courses. Craig Knapp was also named a Southwest Super Lawyer in 2011.
Knapp has successfully litigated many multimillion-dollar cases. In 2004, a Maricopa County jury returned a $45.5 million verdict in a case in which a 26-year-old woman with severe developmental delays drowned while under the care of a group home. He also obtained an $11 million verdict in 2009 in a wrongful death case which occurred at an assisted living facility.
