A graduate of the Yale School of Architecture, Andrew has as been practicing architecture as a principal since 1985. He has chaired the Woodbridge, CT Plan & Zoning Commission and presently Chairs the Architectural Review Board. He is a member of the board of the Orange Economic Develop Commission. As an active member of the Orange Chamber of Commerce and the Senior Connection Group, he raises awareness of the services available to seniors.

He is also active in the "virtual village", Home Haven, on the Household Services Committee and the steering committee developing an Amity regional village.

Andrew was recently awarded a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation. This certification places Mr. Robinson in a select group of individuals across the nation, identifying him as one of the building industry's experts on home modifications for aging in place.
